The coach that had the biggest impact on Riley is Mr. John Dabney because as soon as Riley moved to Milan in 6th grade, Mr. Dabney introduced himself to him and he made sure that he played football. Riley told him yes he played and after that Mr. Dabney has always looked after Riley and his family.  Riley remembers when his father got sick and his mother was out of town for long periods of time, Mr. Dabney and his family would make sure Riley was fine and always told him if he needed a place to stay he was always welcome to come over.

The thing Riley will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing his friends and playing sports.  If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be working on technology for Mrs. Dodson’s class and having the aptitude to learn how to fix Chromebooks and computers. The advice Riley would give underclassmen is, “Don't let people boss you around, do what you want to do and enjoy it.”
