Please welcome Mr. Smith back to the Milan C-2 Family. Mr. Smith graduated from Grand Canyon University. He loves binge-watching old TV shows. Mr. Smith has been in the education field in many different capacities. He has been a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, and has 3 years of teaching experience. He has been a substitute at Milan C-2 before; this will be his first year teaching.
Band and Cheer Camps have been taking place this week! We love seeing students back in our halls and the band happened to be playing our favorite song, 🎶 Hail to the Wildcats 🎶!!
Please welcome Mrs. Christian to the Milan C-2 Family. Mrs. Christian graduated from Missouri Western State University. She enjoys playing board games. Chess, checkers, monopoly, sequence… doesn’t really matter what the game is. They’re all good. She has 1 year of teaching experience. This will be her first year teaching at Milan C-2.

Please welcome Mrs. Taylor to the Milan C2 Family. Mrs. Taylor graduated from the University of Missouri. Mrs. Taylor & her husband Nick have two daughters; Tori & Lancey. She enjoys cheering on the wildcats and loves anything crafting. This will be her first year teaching.
Please welcome Mrs. Abernathy to the Milan C-2 Family. Ms. A went to college at NCMC. Her hobbies include drawing, painting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She has been in education for 36 years as a substitute teacher; 15 of those years were at Milan C-2. She will be full-time this school year working in the special education department.
Please welcome Mrs. Pearce to the Milan C-2 Family. Mrs. Pearce graduated from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas. Her husband was an Army Chaplain with the Arkansas National Guard. She loves to craft, decorate, and travel. She has 3 teenage boys and a double doodle named Skywalker. She has been a home educator for the last 10 years, and both of her parents are retired school teachers.
Please welcome Mrs. Bain to the Milan C-2 Family. Mrs. Bain graduated from Graceland University and William Woods University. She played on a women's competitive fast pitch team for 7 years. She enjoys sports, crafting, showing cattle, and spending time with family. She has over 20 years of experience in education. This will be her first year teaching at Milan C-2.
MHS is proud to call Mr. Sayre one of our own! Today he received the Missouri Outstanding Teacher Mentor Award at the MVATA Summer Conference. He has worked with 13 student teachers & served as a mentor to many young teachers through the program & is very deserving of the award!
