Summer school is tentatively planned for July 6- July 31st. Students will be present on campus Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday/Thursday students will participate in remote learning using their chromebooks. Student chromebooks will be sent home on July 6th. Students will be expected to participate in remote learning. If remote learning is not possible in your home, alternative activities will be provided to your child. Please contact the school at 660-265-1404 if you do not have WiFi and your student is unable to participate in remote learning.
Starting Monday, June 29th the elementary office will be located on the south end of the k-2 hallway. Please enter the elementary using the east playground gate. Once you enter the K-2 hallway the office will be the first door on your left. All visitors will need to check in at this location.
Beginning, Monday, 6/1/20 - the Milan C-2 School District offices will be opened, with restrictions. The only door on campus that will be unlocked is the 'north-facing' Breezeway door in the Elementary. Upon entering, visitors must travel to an electronic entry door to be identified. A school staff member will meet the visitor at the electronic entry door and screen the visitor. If a visitor has a temperature of 100.4 or above; they will be asked to not come in. If ANYONE has been feeling ill or may have been exposed to anyone with the virus; please do not come into the school. Questions can be directed to either office. After speaking with officials within the Sullivan County Health Department, the Milan C2 School District will be closed on Tuesday, 3/17/20 through Friday, 3/27/20 and resume on Monday, 3/30/20. This is to decrease the chance of spreading the COVID-19 Corona virus.
