🎉🎉2026 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Today, we’re celebrating one of our seniors! 🎓
Paydon Seegmiller will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Kendall and Ashlee Seegmiller and brother of Brinley, Quinntin, and Mackenlee Seegmiller. His favorite activities to do with his family are playing card games, board games, and fishing. His favorite childhood memory is going to the cabin to hunt and going up the mountains on the four-wheelers.
The activity he enjoys most is fishing because he likes to sit and relax, have time to think, and often hang out with friends or family, while also being able to brag about catching the biggest one. His favorite high school memory is when the week before he moved from Utah, they got one foot of snow and went out with his friends and towed a sled behind their truck. The class Paydon enjoyed the most was Spanish because Mrs. Gray always made it fun and always joked around with them. His biggest pet peeve is leaving your brights on when passing someone.
Outside of school, Paydon enjoys working, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends. If he had one wish, it would be to run a successful business and live a great life with no regrets. The three words that best describe him are Ambitious, Trustworthy, and Selfless. After High School, Paydon plans to start his own landscaping company. In 10 years, he sees himself either moving to or already having moved to Montana to build his dream home. Three things on his bucket list are a vacation in Alaska, a deep-sea fishing trip, and hunting in Africa.
The person he admires most is his dad because of all the great lessons he has taught him, his work ethic, and because he is a great dad. The teacher who had the biggest impact on Paydon is Mr. Sayre because he taught him skills with driving a skid steer and working around the shop, and was always in a great mood and made everything fun. If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be when he first came to the school; he had the best mullet and was known as the mullet kid. The advice Paydon would give underclassmen is not to worry about what people think about you and just be yourself.
Drew Brees McAlister will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of JC and Debbie McAlister and brother of Lily, Jeremy, and Carie. His favorite activity with his family is eating. His favorite childhood memory is napping constantly.
Drew has been involved in Scholar Bowl for 4 years at Milan C-2. The class Drew enjoyed the most was Ela 3 because he loves writing.
Outside of school, Drew enjoys sleeping, reading, and listening to music. If he had one wish, it would be peace and love for everyone.
After High School, Drew plans to pursue a career in journalism. In 10 years, he sees himself content with his life. Three things on his bucket list are to travel to Vietnam, write a book, and invent a word.
The person he admires most is Frank Zappa because of Zappa's individualist ideology, which allowed him to live a life that fulfilled him.
The teacher and coach who had the biggest impact on Drew is Zoie Pearson.
The thing Drew will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is the highly social environment. If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be fondly.
The advice Drew would give underclassmen is “education results in a much more beautiful understanding of the world around you”.

I have asked Mirian to translate several documents for me. Not only has she translated each of them, but she has them back to me extremely quickly!
Mirian is very organized and communicates well with families.
Mirian goes above and beyond as a school translator. Her dependability and dedication help bridge language barriers and ensure families stay connected with the school. We greatly appreciate her commitment and the positive impact she has on our community.
Cristal Barriga will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of Valente Barriga and Cecilia Alvarado Barriga, and sister of Junior Barriga. Her favorite activity to do with her family is going shopping. Her favorite childhood memory is all the parties her parents would throw and having so many family members around all the time.
Cristal has been involved in Basketball (4), Track (4), Yearbook (3), FBLA (3), Multicultural Club (2), Student Council (1), and Band (1) at Milan C-2. The activity she enjoys most is Student Council because it helped her talk to a lot more people during all the activities they hosted. Her favorite high school memory is when she won homecoming queen her senior year.
The class Cristal enjoyed the most was Spanish 3 because she liked watching the high seas and laughing the whole class. Her biggest pet peeve is when people have negative attitudes.
Outside of school, Cristal enjoys going to the movies. If she had one wish, it would be for no one to ever have to worry about basic necessities.
After High School, Cristal plans to start her college degree at MCC. In 10 years, she sees herself working as an ultrasound tech and driving her blacked out Cadillac every day.
The person she admires most is her mom because she did everything possible to make her the best version of herself and gave her everything she ever needed. The teachers who had the biggest impact on Cristal were Mrs. Sievers and Mrs. Gray because they always made her feel like she had someone she could go to during the school day if she needed someone to talk to.
The thing Cristal will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing her friends every day. If there was one way she could be remembered at MHS, it would be as someone who could find something positive in everything. The advice Cristal would give underclassmen is that having a positive perspective on everything you do will make your life so much happier.

The 6th Grade Celebration will be here before you know it! Please submit 3 individual pictures of your 6th grader to Mrs. Hodge by April 17, 2026.

If you are unable to email digital copies, you may send printed photos to school with your student. They will be scanned and returned to your student.
