Milan High School is keeping up the tradition of honoring our outstanding athletes. Last year we hung new track record boards. This year we are going to be hanging career points in our 1000, 2000, & 3000 point clubs which will hang in The Den ( our new gym). If you or someone you know who has graduated from Milan C-2 has achieved this feat, please contact Ched Hurley at churley@milan.k12.mo.us or call 660-292-5691 ext1402. Of course, these point totals will need to be verified before we hang them up.
Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences will be in person on Monday, 10/21/24 from 11 am-6 pm. Your child's teacher will share information on how to schedule your conference time. High School will be doing Glow & Grow phone calls on Monday 10/21/24 starting at 8 AM. If you would like to request a phone call from a specific teacher, please email that teacher. Teachers will not be making calls for every student on their roster due to the volume of students they work with.
3rd & 4th Grade Field Trip to Pony Express Museum, Patee House, and Jesse James Home is on Friday, October 18th. Students need to be in their classrooms at 7:15. We will load buses at 7:30 and leave at 7:45. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a spillproof water bottle.
MHS Student Clubs are teaming up to raise money for supplies to send & help with hurricane relief in N. Carolina.

Midterm Report Cards for 7-12 grade students will be posted to the parent portal shortly. We will also be attempting to email the reports. You should see a request for you to submit an electronic signature so we know that it has been received. All Report Cards will be mailed USPS as well, but will take a few days to get to mailboxes. If you see something that doesn't look right, PLEASE contact the High School Office. This is our first time running these reports from our new system, your patience is greatly appreciated.
Additionally, we want to remind you that grades for 7-12 run for the entire semester and will no longer be 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, and then an average of those two grades for the 1st semester. The grades you will see are "LIVE" and will continue through the end of this semester (December 20, 2024).

We are partnering with the Sullivan Co. Health Dept., Milan C-2 will host a free flu shot clinic for students grades 5-12 and staff on Friday, October 18, 2024. Consent forms have been sent home with students and need to be returned to school by Thursday, October 17.
Jostens will be at 2nd lunch shift tomorrow to take orders for Seniors and Sophomores. All students should have a packet with order information. Orders may be placed online.
🎓Seniors must have a cap and gown for graduation, everything else is optional.
🍕🎉Pizzas are here TODAY 10/15/24! If your child sold any pizza kits, please come to the school between 1:15 and 4:30 pm to pick them up. There is no refrigerator space at the school to store them.
