On Tuesday, 2/28/23, the Milan C-2 Board of Education approved the hiring of Ashley Hoerrmann to serve as the next Elementary Principal. Mrs. Hoerrmann has served the district since 2014, and most recently as the district's Technology Director and Curriculum Coordinator. Mrs. Hoerrmann has been a part of the elementary team that was recognized at the state and national level for its distinction as an Exemplary Professional Learning Community School. She was also on the Elementary Leadership Team and served as a Lighthouse Coordinator to usher in the Leader in Me Program. Mrs. Hoerrmann obtained a Masters in Educational Leadership from Williams Woods University in 2017; she also obtained a Masters in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2020.
Mrs. Hoerrmann is building a home in Milan with her husband Jordan and sons Kase and Cohen.
Mrs. Hoerrmann will officially assume the position on August 1st, 2023 and she will replace Dr. Ashley Pauley.

Our Sectional game is 7:45 PM Monday 2/27/23 at Staley High School in Kansas City. Tickets can only be purchased digitally from MSHSAA’s website. There is a 6 PM Class 2 Boys Game before Milan’s Game.

7-12 students interested in riding the pep bus to the sectional game Monday need to turn in their permission slip to the HS office Monday 8AM-11AM. Additional slips can be picked up in the lending library box located between the Elem and PreK buildings or in the office.
Milan Boys Basketball plays in the District Championship Game at Trenton-NCMC tonight at 6 PM. Doors open at 5:15 PM. $6 Tickets can only be purchased at the Gate. GO WILDCATS!!!
