On Tuesday, 2/28/23, the Milan C-2 Board of Education approved the hiring of Ashley Hoerrmann to serve as the next Elementary Principal. Mrs. Hoerrmann has served the district since 2014, and most recently as the district's Technology Director and Curriculum Coordinator. Mrs. Hoerrmann has been a part of the elementary team that was recognized at the state and national level for its distinction as an Exemplary Professional Learning Community School. She was also on the Elementary Leadership Team and served as a Lighthouse Coordinator to usher in the Leader in Me Program. Mrs. Hoerrmann obtained a Masters in Educational Leadership from Williams Woods University in 2017; she also obtained a Masters in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2020.
Mrs. Hoerrmann is building a home in Milan with her husband Jordan and sons Kase and Cohen.
Mrs. Hoerrmann will officially assume the position on August 1st, 2023 and she will replace Dr. Ashley Pauley.
