Help us celebrate our amazing Milan teachers! Each year, the Milan PTO hosts a Teacher Appreciation Auction, where staff can bid on donated items using coupons they earn throughout the year.

If you’d like to donate an item, please send it with your child or drop it off at the elementary office by May 6th.

Each year, our students receive a FREE Field Day shirt—a tradition we started several years ago that has become incredibly meaningful for our kids. ❤️

🎉🎉2026 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Today, we’re celebrating one of our seniors! 🎓

Troy Aldridge will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Carla Glidewell and Brandon Glidewell.  His favorite activity to do with his family is to spend quality time outdoors.  His favorite childhood memory is spending time with his grandpa.

Troy has been involved in FFA (4 years), Football (3 years), and Track (1 year) at Milan C-2.  The activity he enjoys most is fishing because it is a peaceful way to spend time outdoors. His favorite high school memory is when they made it to the final 4 in football.

The class Troy enjoyed the most was food science because he got to cook great food with his friends. His biggest pet peeve is when people ask too many questions.  

Outside of school, Troy enjoys hanging out with friends.  If he had one wish, it would be to own a nice garage. The three words that best describe him are fun, loving, and adventurous.

After High School, Troy plans to attend State Tech for HVAC.  In 10 years, he sees himself with a good job and a nice house. Three things on his bucket list are buying a boat, owning land, and going deep-sea fishing.

The person he admires most is his mom because she is the hardest worker he knows and is always there for him. The coach who had the biggest impact on Troy is Mark Cole because he was a great leader and mentor. He taught Troy valuable lessons that can be used outside of football.

The thing Troy will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is being around his friends every day.  If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS it would be as a very easy-going person. The advice Troy would give underclassmen is to figure out their future plans before it's too late.

🎉🎉2026 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Today, we’re celebrating one of our seniors! 🎓

Martina Sepulveda will graduate in 2026 from Milan C-2 High School. She is the daughter of Doreny Henriquez, Elias Sepulveda, and Adolfo Villanueva, and the sister of Adolfo and Monse. Her favorite family activity is having picnics at the lake. Her favorite childhood memory is going to the beach with her family and spending the entire afternoon playing board games.

Martina Sepulveda has been a member of the Multicultural Club (2). Among the awards she has earned are the Perfect Attendance Award (received for two consecutive years) and the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award from the ESL English Department. The activity she enjoys most is painting, as it helps her relax and allows her imagination to flow while she mixes different colors and shapes. Her favorite memories at Milan C-2 revolve around all her Spanish classes, as Ms. Gray possesses a unique essence and an incredible personality, making every class a happy memory.

The class Martina Sepulveda enjoyed the most was Art, because she feels very calm in it; the classroom atmosphere is very peaceful, and she greatly enjoys working on hands-on projects.

What bothers her most are injustices and people who do not know how to communicate a problem without being rude or aggressive.

Outside of school, Martina enjoys watching movies and TV series she has seen before, as well as baking desserts. If she could make one wish, it would be to speak every language in the world. The three words that best describe her are kind, peaceful, and cheerful.

After finishing high school, Martina plans to attend Truman State University to study Health Sciences (Pre-med), with the intention of subsequently taking the medical school entrance exam and specializing in Dermatology. Ten years from now, she envisions herself graduating from her sub-specialty program, owning her own home, and saving money to open her own dermatology clinic.

Three items on her bucket list are visiting Europe, designing her own home, and visiting Chile two or three times a year. The person she admires most is her mother, because she is the most loving and kind person she knows; she always supports Martina in everything she does and views every one of Martina's dreams as a possibility. The teacher who had the greatest impact on Martina is Mrs. Heather Jaques; she was the first teacher Martina met upon moving to the United States, and she felt deeply supported by her while learning a new language. Mrs. Jaques not only taught her about the culture of her new country but also showed interest in Martina's own culture. What Martina will miss most about Milan C-2 High School is the teachers, as she feels they create a wonderful school environment. The advice Martina would offer to freshmen is this: form your own opinions—do not let others influence your beliefs—and learn as much as you possibly can.
