The HS Softball game at Princeton scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, has been CANCELED.
Milan C-2 is proud to welcome Mr. Robert Phillips, Class of 1977, back home for Homecoming 2026! 🐾💚💛
Robert will serve in two special roles during this year’s Homecoming festivities:
🎤 Guest Speaker at the Community Pep Rally
🌺 Grand Marshal of the Homecoming Parade
A lifelong Wildcat, Robert attended Milan schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. During high school, he participated in football, basketball, track, golf, band, 4-H, FFA, and FBLA. He was a member of the 1975 football team, which was inducted into the Milan Athletic Hall of Fame in 2023.
After graduating in 1977, Robert attended Northeast Missouri State University, where he played football, participated in ROTC, and graduated in 1983. He later graduated from the Missouri Highway Patrol Academy and served 18 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, rising to the rank of captain.
Today, Robert is a farmer and owner-operator specializing in bulk logistics management. He and his wife, Marlene, are proud parents of two daughters and grandparents of three grandchildren.
