🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🎓
Michael David Pipes will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of David and Patti Pipes. His favorite activity to do with his family is to go hunting. His favorite childhood memories are from when he played traveling basketball during the summer.
Michael has been involved in Football 4 years, Basketball 4 years, Golf 4 years, and FFA 4 years at Milan C-2. The activity he enjoys most is Basketball because he was with a great group of friends and also made it to the final four. His favorite high school memories are when his team went to the final four his sophomore year and when they won districts his senior year for basketball.
The class Michael enjoyed the most was A&P because they got to learn about the human body and how it works. His biggest pet peeve is when people start drama.
Outside of school, Michael enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. If he had one wish it would be to go to state for golf. The three words that best describe him are outgoing, reliable, and trustworthy.
After High School, Michael plans to go to State Tech in Linn, MO to study to be a Utility Systems Technician. In 10 years, he sees himself in a good job working either in the fiber-optics or as an electrician. Three things on his bucket list are going to play on the number one golf course in America, to go to Alaska, and going to state for golf.
The person he admires most is his grandmother because she keeps him in good faith and is the light of his world. The coach that had the biggest impact on Michael is Andrea Dabney because she has coached him his whole life and made a huge impact on him.
The thing Michael will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is playing sports and seeing his friends every day. The advice Michael would give underclassmen is, “Enjoy it while you can because once it is gone it's gone.”

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🎓
Bobbi Ann Richardson will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of B.R. and Lori Richardson. Her favorite activity to do with her family is going on vacation, especially the beach. Her favorite childhood memory is spending time on the farm with her dad and showing goats.
Bobbi Ann has been involved in Basketball - 4 years, FFA - 4 years, Students Council - 2 years, National Honor Society - 2 years, Science Club - 2 years, she was a group 1 individual at State for livestock judging, and is getting her State Degree for FFA all while attending Milan C-2.
The activities she enjoys most are FFA and Student Council. In FFA she enjoys all the trips they have been able to go on including National Convention and judging livestock. FFA has been a great experience for Bobbi Ann and has helped her become the person she is today. She enjoys being on Student Council because her and her friends get to organize and put on lots of different activities for the other students to enjoy.
She has many favorite High School memories which include going to contests for FFA with her judging team, going to National Convention and State Convention, running as a Homecoming queen candidate, and going to the Elite 8 for basketball.
The class Bobbi Ann enjoyed the most was Mrs. Herington’s because of all the laughs, there was never a dull moment in her room, and it was so easy to be able to be herself in there because everyone got along with each other. Her biggest pet peeve is when people interrupt her.
Outside of school Bobbi Ann enjoys riding around with her friends, shopping, hunting with her dad, and just spending time with her family and friends. If she had one wish it would be to be happy and successful in whatever she does in the future. The three words that best describe her are determined, candid, and outgoing.
After High School, Bobbi Ann plans to attend FSCC in Fort Scott Kansas to judge livestock, and then become a Speech Pathologist. In 10 years, she sees herself being a Speech Pathologist in an elementary school, married, and possibly having a kid. Three things on her bucket list are to go on a hot air balloon ride, see the Northern Lights, and visit the Maldives.
The people she admires are her parents because ever since she can remember she has looked up to her mom and dad. Whether it be for guidance, support, advice, or sometimes just needing a hug. Even if they were stressed and had lots of things going on they still never missed a game or an event. They have always been there for her throughout her life. Now as a senior in high school she realizes just how much they mean to her. They have taught her some of the most important lessons in life. She admires the hard work they have put into building the amazing childhood and life they have given her.
The teachers that had the biggest impact on Bobbi Ann are her current FFA advisors, Mrs. Cowles, and Mrs Herington because they have always been willing to help her and push her to achieve her goals. Each of those teachers has believed in her since the beginning. They are always there for her and she feels like she can talk to them about anything. She will forever be grateful for the impact they had on her life.
The thing Bobbi Ann will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is being able to see her friends everyday. If there was one way she could be remembered at MHS, it would be how she was willing to help anyone, how people could count on her, and graduating with a class that she considers her family.
The advice Bobbi Ann would give underclassmen is, “It goes by faster than you think so don’t take anything for granted, have fun while you're in high school and dream big.”

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Molly Jo Genevie Wyant will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of Jenny Wyant and sister of Brittany Wilson. Her favorite activity to do with her family is going shopping. Her favorite childhood memory is when she went fishing with her family.
Molly has been involved in Art Club for 1 year at Milan C-2. The activity she enjoys most is listening to music because it is relaxing. Her favorite high school memory is helping out with The Wildcats Tasty Zone her senior year.
The class Molly enjoyed the most was the art class because she likes to create stuff. Outside of school, Molly enjoys shopping and going to the movies. If she had one wish it would be to get rid of cancer. The three words that best describe her are kind, outgoing, and funny.
After High School, Molly plans to go into nursing. In 10 years, she sees herself married and having kids with a house and a job. The person she admires most is her mom because she taught Molly to never give up.
The thing Molly will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is helping with The Wildcats Tasty Zone. The advice Molly would give underclassmen is, “Never to give up and be yourself.”

The Milan C-2 School District is excited to host Gerry Brooks on Wednesday, April 27th at 2 PM in the High School Gym. Schedule changes for 3/31/22: The Track Meet has been cancelled. The Golf Match has been postponed. The Baseball Game is rescheduled to tomorrow 4-1-22.
The 3rd grade finished their unit on Famous Missourians. They researched their person, filled out a biography poster, & used a water bottle to construct their Missourian. They designed their clothes, hair, & accessories. They were so creative! #3GMC2 #FamousMissourians


🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🎓
Zachary Banner will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Rodney and Tennile Banner and brother of Delaney and Jaylee Banner. His favorite activity to do with his family is to play board games and card games. His favorite childhood memory is playing baseball with his friends during the summer time.
Zack has been involved in Baseball(4), Basketball(4), FFA(4), and NHS(2) at Milan C-2. The activity he enjoys most is FFA because it is an organization that has given him the opportunity to learn a lot of skills that he will use in life as well as given many great opportunities and memories. His favorite high school memory is when they went to the Final Four in Basketball his sophomore year and winning the District title his senior year.
The class Zack enjoyed the most was Mrs. Yocom’s Personal Finance class because it was a class that prepared him for many things he will encounter in his future. He also enjoyed the fun jokes with Mrs. Yocom, he said personal finance class was always a great time. His biggest pet peeve is when people ask him what a conversation is about after it's already over. Outside of school, Zack enjoys working and spending time with his girlfriend. If he had one wish it would be to play one more basketball game with his teammates. The three words that best describe him are reliable, kind, and hardworking.
After High School, Zack plans to attend North Central Missouri College to obtain his associates degree in Ag Business. Then he plans on transferring to a 4-Year University to obtain his Masters in Ag Business. In 10 years, he sees himself having a successful career in Ag Business as well as having started a family. Two things on his bucket list are to go to every MLB Stadium and travel outside the Country.
The person he admires most is his mom because with her job comes a lot of stressful times, but no matter what it is she always comes out smiling. She has never missed any of Zack’s events and he appreciates greatly how much she supports him. The coaches that had the biggest impact on Zack are Mr. and Mrs. Coach Dabney because they have coached him since he was in junior high and not only have they helped him become better as an athlete, but they helped him become a better person in general. Their constant hard work they put in to give Zack an enjoyable experience for a sport they share a love for is truly something he will never forget.
The thing Zack will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing his friends every day in class and in the hallway. If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be as the guy that would do anything to help someone without hesitation.
The advice Zack would give underclassmen is, “Don’t be afraid to be involved in something. Having an extracurricular activity makes school even more enjoyable.”

🎓 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🎓
David Eddy will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Billy and Mindy Smith and brother of Colt Eddy, Kyler Clark, and Christopher Burk. His favorite activity to do with his family is to cook a big meal and eat together. His favorite childhood memory is having older brothers to teach him everything he knows now.
David has been involved in Football for 4 years, FFA for 3 years, and track for 1 year, at Milan C-2. The activity he enjoys most is football because he’s played it since he was a little boy. His favorite high school memory is when he went to a football camp and Dominic Shirley threw up on the bus after eating dairy queen on the way home.
The class David enjoyed the most was Algebra 2 and Geometry because Mr. Wilcox called him Dustin for half of a year in Algebra 2, and in Geometry, I earned the name Jennifer. His biggest pet peeve is when people don’t participate in class.
Outside of school, David enjoys working and being out with friends. If he had one wish it would be for high school to never end, and for football to continue. The three words that best describe him are compassionate, determined, and enthusiastic.
After High School, David plans to go into the army reserves and then go into the workforce, while continuing his education. In 10 years, he sees himself working at a job that he enjoys. Three things on his bucket list are to travel the world, go skydiving, and take a hot air balloon trip.
The person he admires most is his mother because she has always had his back, and when he needs someone to lean on she’s right there. The teacher that had the biggest impact on David is Coach Duffy because Coach Duffy told him when he was still in junior high that “the more you know, the higher chance you’ll have to succeed.”
The thing David will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is the staff that were like family to him. If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be always trying to make people laugh, and make the most of what they’ve got when they’ve got it. The advice David would give underclassmen is, “Make the most of the time you have with the friends you have while you’re here because those friends won’t be here forever.”

Charlie Everly will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of Charles and Joann Everly and sister of Chloey, Lacy, Josh, Patrick, Travis and Joey. Her favorite activity to do with her family is playing card games and hanging out. Her favorite childhood memory is the multiple camping trips with her older brothers.
Charlie has been involved in Art Club (4 years), FBLA (5 years), Speech and Debate (1 Year), Science Olympiad (1 year), Science Club (1 year), National Honor Society (1 year), Vo-Tech (1 year), and Upward Bound (3 years) at Milan C-2. The activity she enjoys most is FBLA because of the things it allowed her to experience and the memories she made on FBLA trips. Her favorite high school memory is hard to pick because she has enjoyed almost every moment of the last four years with all her friends by her side.
The class Charlie enjoyed the most was art because she got to spend time with her friends while doing interesting projects. Her biggest pet peeve is when people treat others poorly and act like they are better than others.
Outside of school, Charlie enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. The three words that best describe her are caring, goal-orientated, and outgoing.
After High School, Charlie plans to use her A+ Scholarship and attend North Central Missouri College and major in Elementary Education. Three things on her bucket list are to visit Hawaii, go bungee jumping, and go skydiving.
The teacher that had the biggest impact on Charlie was Ms. Thomson because she always gave Charlie advice and has helped her with a variety of things since 7th grade.
The thing Charlie will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is being with her friends every day and the constant jokes and laughs they have all shared. If there was one way she could be remembered at MHS, it would be that she was always willing to help others. The advice Charlie would give underclassmen is don't worry about what anyone else thinks, do what makes you happy, and take the opportunities life gives you.
Congratulations Milan FFA 2nd place knowledge team headed to state and keeping the streak alive. Janissa Martinez Advanced Public Speaking 2nd place headed to state. Avery Sayre did a great job in competing in FFA creed. We are so proud of each of them for all of their hard work and passion for continuing to develop their leadership skills.
