SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Brianna Nicole Hail will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of Sheena and Matt Keuhn and Jerad and Megan Hail and sister of James and Jace Hail, Ryan and Siera Keuhn, Raegan Keuhn, Jada and Ava Murphy. Her favorite activity to do with her family is going on vacation, playing with her niece, Harper, or just spending quality time with all of them. Her favorite childhood memory is vacationing on a cruise ship with her family where she visited Cozumel and Costa Maya. During this time her brother, Ryan, went to do his own thing and couldn’t be found by the family at the time to board the cruise ship. While on the cruise ship Bri remembers her mom being called up on stage by a comedian. Matt warned her mom that sitting close isn’t a good idea but her mom thought with Matt’s bald head he would be called up on stage, payback happened for Bri’s mom.
Brianna has been involved in Softball-2 years, Track-1 year, FFA-4 years, Student Council-2 years, National Honor Society-2 years, Science Club-2 years, and FBLA-1 year at Milan C-2.
The activities she enjoys most are Student Council and FFA. In Student Council she and her friends were given opportunities to put on many different events for the student body and it’s been fun to be a part of this. Also, this was the Student Council’s first year putting on a Winter Formal and it appeared to be a huge hit. She enjoys FFA because of getting to go to the National Convention two out of her four years. Bri says National Convention was a great experience and opportunity for her.
Bri has many fond High School memories including getting to attend the National Convention with her FFA family, running as a Homecoming queen candidate, and getting crowned at her first ever Winter Formal.
The class Bri enjoyed the most was Mrs. Herington’s because there was always a good laugh in there. You never knew what each day would bring in her classroom and everyone got along great there.
Her biggest pet peeve is when people chew in her ear or when people act better than others. Outside of school Bri enjoys riding around with her friends, going to Janissa’s, riding the Rangers with Jo, Ry, her brothers, and her aunt and uncle, playing with Bexley (her puppy), and having friends over for get togethers.
If she had one wish it would be that her Papah (Ovid Sharp), Grandpa and Grandma (Robert & Conni Jaques) were able to watch her senior year events and attend her graduation. The three words that best describe her are inspiring, determined, and warm-hearted.
After High School, Bri plans to use A+ Scholarship at NCMC in Trenton, MO. In 10 years, she sees herself married with a child and a career she loves.
The people she admires most are her parents because they had her at a young age, but still did an awesome job raising her. Bri says her parents push her to do her best in a loving way.
The teacher that had the biggest impact on Bri is Mrs. Herington because she is always willing to help and she cares about her students. Bri always feels like she can talk to Mrs. Herington about anything; personal or school.
The thing Bri will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing her friends every day and a lot of her teachers. If there was one way she could be remembered at MHS, it would be graduating with the closest class, we all treat each other like family and it’s been amazing growing up together.
The advice Bri would give underclassmen is, “Study hard but also spend plenty of time building relationships and creating memories with your friends. You always think time goes slow, but it goes faster than you think. Take everything one day at a time.”

Alexis “Lexi” Sage May will be a 2022 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of Jaclyn and Bryce May and sister of Shelby Kidd and Alex May. Her favorite activity to do with her family is to go on ATV rides. Her favorite childhood memory is riding around with her mom on a four-wheeler and getting covered in mud.
Lexi has been involved in FFA (4 years) and softball (2 years) at Milan C-2. The activity she enjoys most is FFA because she enjoys participating on the contest teams. Her favorite high school memory is when we got to dissect a pig in Zoology.
The class Lexi enjoyed the most was Psychology because of the presentation she got to do. Her biggest pet peeve is people chewing gum really loud.
Outside of school, Lexi enjoys eating and hanging out with friends. If she had one wish it would be for her to be successful. The three words that best describe her are outgoing, loyal, and nice.
After High School, Lexi plans to be working as a mechanic. In 10 years, she sees herself having her own mechanic shop as a successful business owner. Three things on her bucket list are bungee jumping, taking a hot air balloon ride, and riding a mechanical bull.
The person she admires most is her mom because she has been the best role model. The teacher that had the biggest impact on Lexi is Mrs. Davis because she has helped her a lot in all of her classes, not just Mrs. Davis’.
The thing Lexi will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is her friends. If there was one way she could be remembered at MHS, it would be for having good grades and not getting in trouble. The advice Lexi would give underclassmen is, “Get as much out of it as possible because it will be gone quickly.”
