🎉🎉2025 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Pamela Nicole Alonso Alvarez will be a 2025 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the daughter of Brenda Alvarez and Ricardo Alonso and sister of Andrea Alonso Alvarez. Her favorite activity to do with her family is to travel. Her favorite childhood memory is traveling together or having big family cookouts with food, music, and competitive games.
Pamela has been involved in FBLA (4 years), Yearbook (2 years), Cheer (2 years), Multicultural Club (3 years), and NHS (2 years) at Milan C-2. The activity she enjoys most is FBLA because she learned a lot about business leadership and enjoyed the fun competitiveness of the conferences. Her favorite high school memory is cheering with her closest friends and learning new stunts together. Her personal favorite was basket tosses.
Her biggest pet peeve is when people are pessimistic or unnecessarily mean.
Outside of school, Pamela enjoys spending time with her friends, cooking, and having movie nights. If she had one wish, it would be to have the ability to fly. The three words that best describe her are benevolent, hardworking, and passionate.
After High School, Pamela plans to attend MCC for two years in pursuit of a degree in criminology and from there to find a school that best suits her career plan. In 10 years, she sees herself traveling across the world, being successful, and owning a house of her own. Three things on her bucket list are skydiving, buying a summer home in Mexico, and going to Paris.
The person she admires most is her sister because she has always been a role model, offers the best constructive advice, and is the most authentic person she knows.
The thing Pamela will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is having funny class discussions that had nothing to do with what they were doing in class. If there was one way she could be remembered at MHS, it would be as someone who was kind and easy-going. The advice Pamela would give underclassmen is to experience high school the way you want to, have as much fun as you can (responsibly), and keep your future self in mind. Contrary to some beliefs, high school can be a fun experience, sometimes it really just is that phone!

The people she admires most are her dad and mom because even though they endured the toughest of hardships, they never gave up on themselves. They are the greatest example of “el que quiere, puede”. The teacher who had the biggest impact on Nancy is Mrs. Yocom because she felt like her school mom and was the teacher she truly felt she could go to for help.
