His favorite high school memory is when they won districts in his sophomore year in basketball, and everyone stormed the court.  The class Ethan enjoyed the most was lifetime wellness because of the debates he and Mr. Morehead, and Keaton are in that class. His biggest pet peeve is slow drivers.  Outside of school, Ethan enjoys fishing, riding four-wheelers, and driving around. If he had one wish, it would be to cure the world's diseases forever. The three words that best describe him are funny, athletic, and honest After High School, Ethan plans to attend State Fair Community College to triple and long jump and later transfer to UCM to major in Sport Management to later become a sports agent for professional athletes.  In 10 years, he sees himself in a nice house, driving a nice car, and having a happy and healthy family. Three things on his bucket list are to skydive, own a hellcat, and make a million dollars. The person he admires most is his parents because they always do what is right in every situation. The coach that had the biggest impact on Ethan is Coach Cole because he always had his back in every situation and always made him work his hardest, no matter the circumstances. He also believed in him when a lot of people didn’t. The thing Ethan will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is playing sports with all of his friends and family.  If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be as a good student athlete. The advice Ethan would give to underclassmen is to stay out of trouble and get their work done.

🎉🎉2025 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Gunner Baker will be a 2025 graduate of Milan C-2 High School. He is the son of Brooke Boyd, and Joseph and Brandy Baker. He is the brother of Eston Baker, Taleena Weaver, Clayton Baker, Kyler Baker, Kamden Baker, Max Sibley, Leon Sibley, and—his favorite of all—Jalen Boyd. His favorite activities to do with his family are fishing, SxS riding, and hanging out with his girlfriend, Kenadie Dover. His favorite childhood memory is going to his Grandma B’s house. He remembers sitting on the cabinet while she baked oatmeal cookies and sneaking cookie dough from the bowl when she wasn’t looking! His favorite high school memory was being in Mr. Kelly’s class. The class Gunner enjoyed the most was Mr. Kelly’s, because he made his life better. He accepted Gunner and helped make him a better student and person. His biggest pet peeve is his brother Eston always fooling around and messing with him—especially when he’s trying to sleep. Outside of school, Gunner enjoys fishing because that’s when he gets the most time with his family. If he had one wish, it would be to have gotten the chance to fish with his Grandpa Howard. The three words that best describe him are big-hearted, easygoing, and creative. After high school, Gunner plans to attend a welding institution, where he will complete his welding degree before hitting the road as a traveling union welder. In 10 years, he sees himself living in a farmhouse, married to Kenadie Dover, and having 10 kids (all boys). Three things on his bucket list are: to go to Key West, Florida; throw the first pitch at a St. Louis Cardinals game; and own a Toyota Supra. The person he admires most is his mom, because she has always worked so hard to give him the best life. Regardless of what she had to go through, she has always pushed him to do better. She taught him that no matter what happens in life, there is always a positive in every negative. She showed him how to love and taught him how to be a good man. The teacher who had the biggest impact on Gunner is Mr. Kelly, because from Day 1, Mr. Kelly believed in him. He accepted Gunner for who he is—with all his shenanigans. He reminded him of what an awesome kid he was and that he could do anything he put his mind to. Mr. Kelly rocks! The thing Gunner will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is Mr. Kelly. The advice Gunner would give underclassmen is: You may think that high school sucks, but just stay positive about it. There are teachers like Mr. Kelly who help you see the light at the end of the tunnel—and will help make you successful!

His favorite childhood memory is running to hug his dad at the airport when he came back from overseas after one of his deployments was over. Caleb has been involved in FFA for 4 years, Trap Shooting for 3 years, Track for 2 years, and Basketball for 1 year. He also played Football for 3 years where he made All District O-Line, All Conference Second Team O-Line, and All Conference First Team D-Line during his senior year. The activity he enjoyed most was football because it was a good place to release my anger.  His favorite high school memory was when his friend group played hallway tag in 10th grade.  The classes Caleb enjoyed the most were Algebra 1 & 2, because Mr. Hayes always made him think outside the box and not just with math but with life in general. The teacher that had the biggest impact on Caleb was Mr. Hayes, because he wants the best for his students and would use unconventional ways to attain their best. He also helped him prepare for his future in the Marines. His biggest pet peeve is liars.  Outside of school, Caleb enjoys working in the shop and trail riding with the boys. If he had one wish, it would be to stay in touch with all his friends after high school. The three words that best describe him are practical, stubborn, and strong-willed. After High School, Caleb plans to ship out to San Diego, California for Marine Corp Boot Camp. In 10 years, Caleb has no idea where he will be or what he will be doing, but he can’t wait to find out.  Three things on his bucket list are to see the Colosseum in Rome, do his part in watering the Tree of Liberty, and have more money than he knows what to do with . The people he admires most are his parents because they are both very hard-working, and they always put their wants aside for what they think is best for their family. The thing Caleb will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is playing football. If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be as a friend that is always there for others. The advice Caleb would give underclassmen would be to not take all the little things for granted, because sometimes the smallest things are really the most important.
