We had a great day with 34 incoming 7th and (new to the district) 8th graders! Students participated in a mock schedule to travel the building and meet their new teachers. We ended the day with lunch and some free play in the gym!
The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provides the option to offer free meals to all students in eligible high-poverty schools. The Varsity & Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squads started out their season with a National Cheer Association camp. In this camp the squad worked on a variety of things such as cheers, chants, a dance, motions, jumping techniques, stunts, and teamwork. At the end, they earned the Spirit Stick then were awarded NCA Credentialing and the Stunt S.A.F.E. Award. The NCA Cheer Coach had high praises for this squad and we are so proud of them!
