The Central & Northeast Missouri Food Bank is partnering with Milan C-2 School District to serve students in our area. The Food Bank works with nearly 200 schools to help students receive nutritious food. They provide food at no charge to our students. On Wednesday, December 13th, the district School Market will be open from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm. You do not need to qualify, the resources are available for any school families that could benefit from the program. In addition to the School Market, there will be coats, hats, and gloves of various sizes available. If you are interested in participating, please enter through the northwest High School door across from the football shed.
Friendly Reminder: There will be no K-6 Elementary Tutoring on Thursday, 12/14/23 due to that evening's Christmas Concert. Also, the last day of tutoring in December is Tuesday, 12/19/23. Tutoring will resume on Thursday, 1/04/24. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Linn Co, Novinger, and Putnam Co joined us again this afternoon, but this time with our 9th-12th grade students! Robb Holla engaged with our students about the facts and risks of vaping.
MC2 welcomed Middle School students from Linn Co, Novinger, and Putnam Co to join our 4th-8th graders for our guest speaker Robb Holla's message about anti-vaping. It was a great assembly with an important message.
Each year after the FFA fruit is sorted and delivered, the shop boys build a fort with the remaining boxes. This year they included a functioning window (with a latch) and a door! We're not sure if they had more fun building or demolishing, but either way we like the creativity!
