Each year, our students receive a FREE Field Day shirt—a tradition we started several years ago that has become incredibly meaningful for our kids. ❤️

We’re asking for your help to keep this tradition going! Please consider supporting our Field Day shirt fundraiser by donating or simply sharing our flyer. Many of our families and community members love finding ways to give back, and every bit of support makes a difference.

📅 Field Day is May 13th, so we’d love your help spreading the word as soon as possible!

🎉🎉2026 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Today, we’re celebrating one of our seniors! 🎓

Aziel Alcantara will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Karina Pavon and Andres Mora and brother of Genesis and Karla Alcantara.  His favorite activity to do with his family is playing Card games. His favorite childhood memory is going to Florida and watching Leo Messi play in person before the World Cup started.

Aziel has been involved in Basketball (3), Track(3), Football (2), FBLA(3), and Multicultural Club(2) at Milan C-2.  The activity he enjoys most is PE class because He gets to do what he loves most, play sports. His favorite high school memory is his Freshman year, when the basketball team won districts and played their sectional game in Kansas City.

The class Aziel enjoyed the most was Spanish 3, because he got to eat food and learn about other countries' cultures. His biggest pet peeve is when people are driving slowly in the fast lane.

Outside of school, Aziel enjoys going to church and hanging out with friends. If he had one wish, it would be for people not to have to worry about gas prices. The three words that best describe him are funny, honest, and dynamic.

After High School, Aziel plans to attend Metropolitan Community College and get a degree in Business Management.  In 10 years, he sees himself running his own business and driving a nice car. Three things on his bucket list are to go to Europe, watch a World Cup game in person, and buy his mom a car.

The person he admires most is his mom because she taught him to always have faith in God, even when times get tough, because God rewards those who seek Him.

The teachers who had the biggest impact on Aziel are Coach Cole and Mrs. Gray, because no matter if you were having a bad day, they always knew how to put a smile on your face.

The thing Aziel will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing his friends and classmates. The advice Aziel would give underclassmen is to enjoy the years you have left because they will go by fast.

After High School, Hayden plans to attend college to become a registered dietitian and be a personal fitness trainer. In 10 years, he sees himself happy, successful, and set for his career. Three things on his bucket list are to travel the world, hunt a bear, and make a hole-in-one.

The person he admires most is Spider-Man because his strength is based on willpower, and despite facing overwhelming personal hardship, he refuses to give up and does the right thing.

The thing Hayden will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing his friends every day and the social environment where everyone knows each other. 🎉🎉2026 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Today, we’re celebrating one of our seniors! 🎓

Jaiven Smith will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Michelle Glasscock and Jericho Smith and brother of Maddison Cornell, Jordan Ward, and Kendrick Smith.  His favorite activity to do with his family is hunting turkeys with his Grandpa Troy.  His favorite childhood memory is going fishing with his mom.

Jaiven has been involved in Baseball (2),  Football (4), Trapshooting (3) at Milan C-2. The activity he enjoys most is football because it is a chance to really feel alive. His favorite high school memory is when the football team went to the final 4 in 2023. The class Jaiven enjoyed the most was Mr. Hayes' class because if you ever needed someone to talk to, he was there.

Outside of school, Jaiven enjoys going fishing, hunting, and spending time with family. If he had one wish, it would be that his mom were healthy. The three words that best describe him are hardworking, easy-going, and energetic.

After High School, Jaiven plans to attend Kirksville Area Technical Center. In 10 years, he sees himself being married and starting a family.

The person he admires most is his mother because she is never afraid to stand for what is right. The coach who had the biggest impact on Jaiven is Coach Cole because he taught him the true meaning of football and what it meant to be part of a brotherhood.

The thing Jaiven will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is playing football. If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be his commitment to football, playing through injuries and never giving up. The advice Jaiven would give underclassmen is don't take your senior year for granted. One day you'll look up, and you'll be in your last game you'll ever play, then it's over. No more Friday night lights, no more practices, and no more sore mornings, it's gone.

🎉🎉2026 Senior Spotlight 🎉🎉Today, we’re celebrating one of our seniors! 🎓

Alexander Hull will be a 2026 graduate of Milan C-2 High School and is the son of Brandy and Joseph Hull and brother of Allison Hull.  His favorite activity to do with his family is going on vacations to the beach.  His favorite childhood memory is going to Sea World San Antonio, where he went swimming with a dolphin, and he was also able to go into the penguin enclosure, where he got bitten by a penguin on the leg.

Alexander has been involved in Football (2), FFA (4), Golf (4), and National Honor Society (2) at Milan C-2.  Alexander received Academic All-State in football his senior year.  The activity he enjoys most is football and weights. Even though practices were miserable, it was still fun to practice with the team. His favorite high school memory is when he walked into his first full pads football practice with Coach Cole wearing his girdle backwards and making his first tackle.

Outside of school, Alexander enjoys lifting weights, listening to music, video gaming, and hanging out with his friends.  Alexander also trains with Traditional Youn Wha Ryu and is a black belt in martial arts.  The three words that best describe him are quiet, helpful, and smart.

After High School, Alexander plans to attend Mizzou, where he plans to get a degree in Civil Engineering.  In 10 years, he sees himself working at an engineering firm.  Two things on his bucket list are to learn Spanish and go to Mexico.

The two people he admires most are Master Natalie and Master Mark, his Martial Arts instructors, because they have taught him to have confidence on and off the martial arts mats through the 6 Traditional Youn Wha Ryu Martial Arts principles: be polite, be patient, be alert, be brave, do your best, and respect yourself and others.

Honorable Mentions for the teachers with the biggest impact on Alexander are Ms. Hullinger, Mrs. Widner, and Mr. Sayre.  Ms. Hullinger let him persuade her to let him out of a page of cursive writing because his argument was so good.  Mrs. Widner has supported him from his first day of kindergarten to his senior year of A+ Cadet.  Mr. Sayre, because he’s Mr. Sayre, just an all-around good guy.

The thing Alexander will miss the most about Milan C-2 High School is seeing friends and classmates every day.  If there was one way he could be remembered at MHS, it would be as the smart one. The advice Alexander would give underclassmen is Do Your Work, Don’t Use AI.
